Oh no, another magazine collection!
Well this one is pretty good in my books. Some of you Trekkies may remember a few years ago when magazine collections were a big thing, Star Trek had one for fact files and I’m sure there was one for the DVD collection. Well in my books they were never worth the money, you got loads of mags with tons of information in and a poxy collection of DVD’s that had about two episodes with each issue.
Well this is slightly more than a DVD that can be had for half the price on Amazon. We’re talking about an entire collection of hand painted ships from all series of the Star Trek universe. After receiving my first two ships, though they haven’t sent me the first edition, (which they said they would,) I have to say they are lovely models. My only problem now is finding a lovely place to put them on show, after all, who doesn’t want their own fleet of mighty warships.
So if your interested, head on over to the official site for the collection and join up. It’s a little steep at a £10 an issue but considering you’re getting some lovely ships with every issue I can justify it. Subscribing also nets you some cool goodies down the road so I would say you’ll get your money’s worth. The issues are spaced out every two weeks so you’re looking at £20 a month for what they say will be about 70 issues in total.
I’ll keep this page updated with photos of all the ships supplied and I hope you ladies and gents enjoy your own collections.
Update: The collection keeps growing. Soon we’ll be getting the first special edition in the collection. The Deep Space Nine Station. Pictures of that and the collection so far will be up as soon as its available.
