Okay so now we have the majority of the release dates for the next-gen consoles I thought it time we created a little post sharing the info and elaborating on it when necessary.

So, first of MS have finally come out and said that the Xbox One will be launching on the 22nd of November in 13 countries to start off with. Those initial countries are the following: UK, US, Ireland, Canada, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Brazil, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.

It will still be sold at the original price point of £429/$499 which currently includes either Fifa 14 or Forza 5 with any pre-orders made before launch. The console will also come bundled with the Kinect 2.0 and a controller.

Now for the PS4’s turn. The launch date for Sony’s new console is slightly spilt for different countries. The US will be getting the PS4 on the 15th of November but Europe won’t be getting it until the 29th of November, a full week after the Xbox One release. Japanese release of the PS4 won’t be until the 22nd of February. Bundled with the console is a controller and a headset.

So, who’s looking forward to the next generation of gaming? Sorry, I couldn’t hear that. (Ahh, my speakers were off. Doh!)
